THE BIG I DO REDO is the brain child of wedding photographer Julia Boggio, who also gained international notoriety as "the Dirty Dancing Bride" when she and her husband posted their wedding dance on You Tube. Over 5 million hits later, they’ve appeared on television shows across the world, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, where Julia danced with none other than Patrick Swayze himself.
When Patrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Julia decided to organise a nationwide charity fundraising event that celebrated love. As one of the UK’s top wedding photographers, Julia is always hearing her brides say that they’d love to wear their gowns again. Thus THE BIG I DO REDO was born!
Julia says, "I hope that this event will capture the imaginations of people across Britain. The day is about celebrating love in all its forms. Please do get involved."

Sonja Hewett: Event Organiser
Sonja has been in the hospitality industry for eleven years; her passion for event planning stems from that. Her 'repertoire' includes a position at one of the most prestigious wine farms in South Africa where Sonja was part of a team that organised and managed many events including weddings, private parties as well as launch events for BMW and Estée Lauder.
After coming to the UK, she worked as a private dining manager for a venue that specialised in weddings and partie. After two years, she decided to channel her expertise and enthusiasm into her own event management business and Style Defined Events was born. She is thrilled to be involved in THE BIG I DO REDO project.
Louise Chuter: Marketing & Sponsorship
After starting her career working within advertising and editorial departments for The Independent newspaper, Louise has gained experience across a broad range of roles within the publishing and advertising marketplace.
She has worked as a media buyer as well as a Sales and Marketing Manager for a number of high-end business-to-business titles and industry events. In 2001, she launched her own magazine for the telecoms market and gained further experience as a publication editor and was a strong competitor in this marketplace for 3 years. Following the dominance of the internet, Louise now successfully runs a company that maintains portal websites for Telecoms industry and offers marketing and sponsorship support services on a consultancy basis.
